This illustrative hand-painted set depicting the 4 main characters of Chainsaw Man Part 1 based on Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga covers is one of my very favorite projects. I took some creative liberties with the color palettes and designs to make them look cohesive yet super striking. This project shows off my love for underglaze and my illustrative and colorful style!

Recently I decided I'd like to bring my twitch mascot into the real world and decided to do so through clay! This was a very challenging technical build that took a lot of engineering to get right. The cherry red pops just how I wanted it to! View fullsize

Some other pieces I fired around the same time as well, including a miniature curling set I gifted to my dad, a traditionally-glazed plate and a saucer glazed and carved to look like a lily pad from Plants vs Zombies. View fullsize

While I was at school, we had access to an American Raku kiln for a time and I loved doing some experiments with the glazes! Here's a hand-built dragon I made as a response to a bowl of mine cracking during the trimming stage. You can see him with hi View fullsize

I made this little guy as a prize for SGDQ 2025 to be won by a lucky donor! He's a wallnut based off of the character from Plants vs Zombies but he has a secret--he's a shaker! If you rattle him, you'll hear a sound! View fullsize

I ended up making a whole line of variants to go with him based on the game. I also varied the size of the clay balls inside to make different sounds based on the one you choose! Also pictured is a very cursed figurine I made of the Deltarune charact View fullsize

A Dungeon Meshi cup I made for a friend! Unfortunately as you can see in the next slide the clear glaze I picked didn't end up reacting well to the underglaze and it ran a bit, which is why I decided to include the pre-fire image as well. Very proud View fullsize

Very proud of the lineart on this since this piece was very small for all that detail!

Sometimes I like to play with more traditional glazes too, not just underglaze. Here was a fun duo I glazed with a combo of glazes that made a gorgeous watermelon pattern! View fullsize

A collection of test cylinders that I ended up decorating to make a Gaudi-inspired set. If you can name all of the architectural inspirations I'd be impressed! This was a great exercise in different surface and building techniques. View fullsize

Now for a few that sadly didn't make it out of the greenware stage but I still think about all the time. This is a mini totaro from My Neighbor Totaro with engravings on it mapping where I would've glazed in a similar style to pieces shown previously View fullsize

To switch it up, I made a custom Rubik's Cube for the Hotfix table at AGDQ 2026 (don't worry if you don't know what any of those words mean). I depicted each of the 6 GDQ mascots on each side! I included a few here so as not to overwhelm the gallery. View fullsize

Finally a few traditionally painted pieces from my collegiate years. This is the hummingbird I painted on my graduation cap. By the end of doing this much detail I literally couldn't see straight! The colors were difficult to mix but well worth it. View fullsize

I was inspired to paint a bird landing on a branch by using the nearby pipe as a way to integrate it into the space, and picked a dynamic pose of an African bird I love. Did you know they live in holes in the cliffsides near rivers?

Finally my second mural bird in the same space. In keeping with the theme of integrating with the architecture, I decided to pick the stairs for the bird to be walking up and intentionally painted this one life-size (more than 3 feet tall!) in order View fullsize

In keeping with the theme of integrating with the architecture, I decided to pick the stairs for the bird to be walking up and intentionally painted this one life-size (more than 3 feet tall!) in order to show people how big these birds are while walking upstairs. Those feet aren't just for walking either--they crush prey for the bird to eat as well!
